Cristina’s experience as a vocalist and voice teacher span both classical and contemporary genres.
Cristina has sung in many choirs including Eastman Repertory Singers, Eastman-Rochester Chorus, Eastman Women’s Chorus, Binghamton Madrigal Singers, and Concordi Letitia. She has also served as alto section leader at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, and cantor for St. Joseph and Holy Family Catholic Church. In addition to classical and choral music, Cristina is an experienced singer and teacher of Gregorian chant.
Cristina taught musical theatre voice at Kennesaw State University, where her students were frequently cast in Atlanta professional theatre. She has served as music director for over 25 musicals. Cristina teaches voice students to be independent musicians, and to understand the mechanics of singing in a variety of genres. Students interested in musical theatre also develop their stage presence and acting through song.
